About This Job at Button Transportation

Join our team as a Food-Grade Cargo Tank Driver. You'll handle a unique range of products, including oils, vinegar, mango juice, and apple juice. Looking for Drivers based within a 150-mile radius of Dixon, CA, this role involves no-touch freight, connecting hoses, opening product valves, and monitoring loading and unloading.

 

Compensation

• CPM pay - Depending on experience
  • 48CPM to 54CPM plus ¼ cent per year each year Jan 1st
• Additional pay for waiting time, 34-hr restart
• Year-end bonus program (varies on compensation and smart drive)
• Weekly direct deposit

Schedule & Home Time: 

• Home Time: As needed, no forced dispatch

• Terminals in Georgia & California

 

Equipment: 

• Volvo VNL 2018 – 2020 models
• Automatic 
• 70 MPH truck speed 

Qualifications: 

• Class A CDL
• Must be at least 22 years old
• Must have 1 year of verifiable experieince 
• Endorsements: Tanker preferred - Required to obtain before hire. We are willing to train.
• A good MVR and a safe driving record are crucial, including no BACs, DUIs, DWIs, or licensing suspensions for moving violations in the past 5 years
• Ability to meet work attendance and availability requirements
• Have legal right to work and live in the United States.
