About This Job at Button Transportation

Join our team as a Food-Grade Cargo Tank Driver. You'll handle a unique range of products, including oils, vinegar, mango juice, and apple juice. Looking for Drivers based within a 150-mile radius of Dixon, CA, this role involves no-touch freight, connecting hoses, opening product valves, and monitoring loading and unloading.

 

Compensation, Benefits, and Other Perks: 

-        CPM pay - Depending on experience - $.48 to $.54 plus ¼ cent per year each year Jan 1st

-        Weekly direct deposit

-        Additional pay for waiting time, 34-hr restart

-        Medical, dental and vision benefits effectively start after 30 days

-        Paid sick time (24 hours total)

-        401K program with 50% company match!

-        Paid orientation and Cargo Tank training! – Full day in the classroom and 3 days in the field.

Schedule & Home Time: 

-        Home Time: As needed, no forced dispatch

-        Take-home truck program

-        Runs East to West and North to South

-        Terminals in Georgia & California

 

Equipment: 

-        Volvo VNL 2018 – 2020 models

-         Automatic 

-        70 MPH truck speed 

-        Fuel Cards and  EZ-Pass included

-        Pet Policy 

Qualifications: 

-        Class A CDL

-        Endorsements: Tanker preferred - Required to obtain before hire. We are willing to train.

-        Must be at least 22 years old

-        A good MVR and a safe driving record are crucial, including no BACs, DUIs, DWIs, or licensing suspensions for moving violations in the past 5 years

-        Ability to meet work attendance and availability requirements

-       Have legal right to work and live in the United States.
